The core of the Jugnoo system are India’s auto-rickshaw drivers, which are used to offer rides from one spot to another and to deliver meals and groceries from local stores and restaurants.
With the Fatafat (Hindi word for quick) offering you can get literally anything delivered anywhere. With Rides (similarly to Uber) customers can request rides through the app, except instead of a sedan, an auto- rickshaw will appear in front of your house to take you to your destination.
Jugnoo has mostly been known for its Rides offering and many customers weren’t even aware of the Fatafat feature. In order to give Fatafat more visibility, we created a home page that equally features both offerings and designed a "Jeeny" button to make toggling between offerings easier.
The old business model, where adding local merchants to the application has been done by the company’s operations team limited Jugnoo’s capacity of adding new locations and becoming a global service provider. The redesigned app features a marketplace-like platform, where merchants can list themselves and users are also encouraged with different incentives to list local merchants.
Besides changes in the business model and the app’s workflow, a UI facelift and brand makeover also took place.
